Sunrise over Zion National Park always inspires, the color of the rocks in the morning light radiate with warmth, even on a chilly Fall dawn. This trip into Zion was a frantic search for that perfect lit cliff face, what I failed account for in my planning was that Zion is a canyon, and the golden light I wanted to photograph wouldn’t reach the canyon floor! Bit of an oversight, but a fun trip none-the-less.
