I’ll often stop and stare at a landscape and mentally try to block out the roads, power lines, signs etc. to get a feeling of what this land looked like before we decided to pave it over with malls and multiplex cinemas, it’s hard. This leads to reason why I like photographing nature so much, it gives me the tools to selectively capture scenes where man has little or no influence. This may be deceptive but I see each photo as a little time machine, a glimpse of what was.
